Wandering fresh green leaves in Kyoto on May 22th, 2020.
I visited many fresh green leaves viewing points and the bamboo grove in Arashiyama area with my bicycle.
I will introduce the Arashiyama bamboo grove, Nonomiya shrine, Jojyakkoji temple, Nisonin temple and others.

It was created in 2015 and is not so famous yet.
The bamboo forest opens between 9 am and 5 pm, all year round.

Nonomiya shrine

No.2 on the map is Nonomiya shrine.
It was founded about 1200 years ago and it’s a shrine related to the Japanese imperial family.
Fresh green leaves and the moss garden were beautiful in this shrine.

Arashiyama bamboo grove

It’s the most famous bamboo grove in Japan.
It’s more beautiful with sunshine, so it’s better to go around noon.

Jojakkoji temple

I took about 2 hours and 30 min from No.1 to No.5 on the map with my bicycle.
You can go around here by train and on foot, but I saw rental bicycle shop near station.
